Capwatt Develops Portugal’s First Biomethane Production Project from Agro-Industrial Byproducts

Located in Aljustrel, this groundbreaking facility will process 160,000 m³ of olive oil sector byproducts annually, enabling the generation of 57 GWh per year of renewable natural gas.

The project represents a total investment of approximately €20 million and is expected to generate local economic growth through new direct and indirect job creation.
