Prismore Capital has been established as a group with 900 employees and €500 million in annual revenue

The newly formed group, which includes companies with industrial sites and energy projects in Portugal, Spain, Italy, Mexico, and Canada, is predominantly focused on industries that drive sustainable innovation, with a strong emphasis on disruptive technologies.

In addition to controlling Sonae, which owns major businesses such as Continente, NOS, Sonae Sierra, Worten and Musti, the Azevedo family’s holding company, Efanor, also comprises within its perimeter major players such as Sonae Arauco (one of the world’s largest wood‑based solutions companies), Sonae Capital Investments (with interests in fitness — Solinca and Element — and hospitality — The Editory Hotels — having recently sold the Tróia Resort to the UK‑based Arrow Global), and Prismore Capital (formerly known as Sonae Capital Industrials), which brings together the industrial assets of the former Sonae Capital and Sonae Indústria.
